Abstract

The most beautiful thing about traveling is to return, because as Seneca - that citizen of the Roman world - said, no one loves his homeland because he is great but because it is his own. In that sense, one loves his city - which is like a small homeland - because in it he finds his being a seat, that is so indefinable that we carry inside and that there is expression in the things around us.
After three months of living in Italy, when one returns one understands the love that these old and nostalgic Neapolitan songs, in which one yearns for the return to home, the return to the alleys, to the square, to the world so intimate that welcomed us in our childhood and from which we never really part.
